What is the best way to get started?

Whether you’ve already tried pilates or not, we recommend taking advantage of one of our Intro Offers.  Get a feel for what its like to be a member at Bayside Pilates! 


The intro offer trial period starts from the very first class you take in the studio. 


Once you finish up your intro offer, you can work out whether one of our Memberships or Class Packs will suit you best going forward.

How do I access the schedule?

The Bayside Pilates App! Use the app to access the schedule, book classes and  manage your account. If you're not into using the app you can always access the same information via our website!

Once you are on the site or app, you can access the schedule to book classes or request appointments! 

How do I book a class?

You can purchase a membership or class packages through our site, schedule or the app. Pick a class time that works for you then click BOOK and follow the prompts!

Are there different class styles or levels?

We offer 2 styles of classes to suit your needs or mood. 


Power Pilates will make you shake, sweat, and burrrrn! Quick transitions, and non-stop movement to get that heart pumping! 


Pilates is our regular class - a bit slower than Power, but don't be deceived, this class still packs a punch! You'll have a bit more focus on reps and form here. Pilates is open-level and suitable for beginners to advanced as well as pregnancy at all stages. 


Remember, general modifications can be easily given for exercises as needed.  Always let your instructor know if you need an alternative move. Take everything at your own pace, it's your class! 


Classes vary daily - instructors may incorporate mat work, reformer, wunda chair, tower, and/or barre work. Regardless of which equipment or combination of equipment you use - your instructor will be there to lead you through a kickass class! ! 

Do you offer memberships?

We do! Memberships are available for group classes and private training. Check out our membership options here! 

What do I need to bring to class?

- Wear whatever you are comfortable to workout in
- Grip socks are recommended but not required - check out our stock of grip socks in studio or bring your own!
- Water to stay hydrated - we provide a water station to refill your own bottle. ​

How many classes should I do per week?

Our classes are high intensity and full body so we recommend 2-3 classes per week to see and feel results! If pilates is your only form of exercise, maybe try for 3-4!  

Can I do Pilates if I am pregnant?

Once your doctor has cleared you for exercise, then yes! 


If you're past 16 weeks and new to pilates give us a call to chat about any symptoms or changes you may be feeling prior to class.  Our Pilates classes are pregnancy friendly, as are the Power Pilates if you're feeling up to the challenge! 

Should I stay home if I am not feeling well?

YES. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell. Our instructors will be following the same rules. 

If you have an injury please do not attend classes until you have been cleared by your physician. 

As always, be honest with your instructor.  Let her know if there is anything going on with your body that might be important - such as pregnancy or injury - previous or current. 

Account management & policies

What if I need to cancel a class I signed up for? Or what if I just don't show up?

Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure everyone has a chance to attend class and that our instructors are compensated for their time. You can cancel via online or the  App - the same way you book. We no longer accept class cancellations via text, email, or phone.  

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations for reserved sessions must be made 24 hours prior to class time to avoid forfeiting the session. 


Those on a group class membership are allowed a 12 hour cancellation window. 

What if the class time I want is full?

Get on that waitlist! Use the waitlist when the class you want is full. If a spot comes available you'll receive an email and/or text notification. You then have the ability to respond "Yes!" or "Bummer, can't make it". 

If we receive no response from you we assume you plan on coming. 

In the event you do not respond and you no show or late cancel, you will have forfeited the session.

What if I want to reserve my spot long term?

We offer the option to get on a recurring schedule! This will pre-book you in advance of 6 months and will guarantee your spot in your favorite class! Standard cancellation terms apply for recurring schedules. 


Ask us how to put you on recurring next time you're in studio! 

Can I sign up to receive texts and email updates?

Absolutely! Sign up to get email and text notifications. We will only send you important stuff like when you get into class from the waitlist, appointment reminders, schedule changes, notification when an auto pay process or fails and any other important account information or updates. Plus you don't want to miss out on any news or promotions that may be happening in the studio! 



How can I cancel my membership?

None of our memberships have a "lock in period" unless it was a special promotion. 


We require 7 days notice prior to your next billing to cancel a membership. Log into your client account to terminate membership.
